The Pledge

Our Partnership

Who are the Pledge Partnership?

The Pledge Partnership puts employers at the heart of informing and inspiring young people about the career and progression opportunities locally and supporting them to know what skills and qualities employers are looking for.

Our aim is to help individuals make informed decisions about gaining qualifications and skills that match the opportunities available locally and build awareness of employers and sectors within our region.

The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Partnership is a of a team of people from across the education, commercial, and community sectors. This allows us to work with every school and college in the region.

The purpose of the Pledge is to facilitate relationships between education and business, to put employers at the heart of inspiring the next generation of employees. It works to ensure that both have career strategies and delivery plans. We work with all types of employers; charities; schools and youth groups. With the help of employers, we provide a coherent programme of inspirational opportunities for both employers and individuals. An example is a growing need for digital and STEM-related skills to help drive productivity across Cheshire and Warrington.

The Pledge areas are defined as, Crewe and Nantwich, Chester and Ellesmere Port, Mid Cheshire East, Winsford and Northwich, Macclesfield, and Warrington.

Each area has an Enterprise Coordinator and a Pledge Facilitator and across the whole area, we have a Youth Engagement Coordinator and an NHS Careers Facilitator.
