Local Growth Fund Final Business Case – Sydney Road Bridge, Crewe

Sydney Road Bridge Project is an £11m scheme to improve traffic flow by installing a new two lane bridge and new pathway making it safer for pedestrians and cyclists and improving air quality by reducing the amount of queuing traffic. The scheme is expected to significantly reduce travel time and tie in with the improvements to Crewe Green Roundabout. This scheme has been developed by Cheshire East Council and will be part funded by a £5.85m grant from the local growth fund.
