Prosper North – Application deadline 3rd February for next cohort
The application deadline to join the next cohort of cultural heritage organisations on the Prosper North programme is in 2 weeks, Monday 3rd February 2020.
Applications submitted by 3rd February 2020 will be considered to receive free business support (1:1 advice, workshops, webinars, peer learning meet ups) on the programme, starting in March 2020.
Organisations currently being supported include The Joseph Rowntree Theatre, Homotopia, The Modernist Society and Artlink Hull. Find out more about the members of our first cohort here .
The ways the programme is helping the first cohort, include advice for preparing to buy or renovate buildings, developing their service or products, improving their trading income or increasing their audience.
About Prosper North
Prosper North is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and will be providing free business support for cultural heritage organisations until February 2021. More information about the programme can be found on the Prosper North website .
The aims of the programme are:
- Increase growth and resilience of organisations
- Improve their impacts in the community
- Enable organisations to access investment from the Northern Cultural Regeneration Fund and attract funds from other sources
Applications are welcomed from a range of enterprises and organisations, which could be, for example, museums, historic buildings, community groups, maker collectives, festivals, music venues or arts studios. Applicants must also demonstrate community or social benefits, and promote, exhibit, educate about, safeguard, curate or showcase tangible or intangible heritage.
There are 2 morning briefing events (9.30am – 11am) lined up to engage and meet with organisations and networks across the North, to inform them about the programme:
