Cheshire and Warrington LEP hosting alternative MIPIM event this week
Cheshire and Warrington LEP is hosting a ‘MIPIM Partner’ event on Tuesday 10th March to share updates and announcements that would have been given at MIPIM Cannes.
With over 60 attendees booked on so far, the event will launch the LEP’s £20m Evergreen Urban Development Fund and attendees can also hear from two expert panels. The first panel features speakers from the LEP, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield and Patrizia, they will be discussing the new ways the public and private sector are collaborating to deliver economic growth. The second panel are highlighting Cheshire and Warrington’s role in a Net Zero North, looking at the UK’s first net zero carbon industrial cluster in Ellesmere Port. This panel has speakers from the LEP, Cheshire West and Chester Council, NP11, Peel and WSP.
Philip Cox, Chief Executive of Cheshire and Warrington LEP, said: “The 2020 programme was really strong with some great panellists starting and continuing conversations about some of the key challenges and opportunities facing the national and international property and investment community”
“We also know that reconnecting or getting to know colleagues from across the region is a big part of supporting the Cheshire and Warrington programme, so we’re delighted to bring a little slice of MIPIM to Cheshire next Tuesday.”
The event is taking place at Mottram Hall from 3pm-5:30pm.
