Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership has launched its annual review for 2019/20, including its annual accounts. The review highlights the LEP’s key achievements and successes over the last year and outlines its future priorities for the year ahead.

Cheshire and Warrington Economic Summit and AGM 2020

Cheshire and Warrington LEP hosted their second AGM and Economic Summit on Wednesday 30th October. Due to ongoing social distancing restrictions the event took place virtually on Zoom. The event, attended by almost 200 delegates, launched the Cheshire and Warrington LEP’s latest annual review which can be viewed above and discussed ‘What is needed to secure our position as the the UK’s healthiest, most sustainable, inclusive and growing economy?’

The LEP were delighted to be joined by Keynote speaker, Andy Haldane, Chief Economist and Executive Director of Monetary Analysis and Statistics at the Bank of England who gave a captivating Economic Keynote address. Read the press release here.

The morning also included an insightful debate from panellists Maggie Chen, Deputy Chair, Cheshire and Warrington LEP Engagement Board, Martin Jones, CEO, Home Instead Senior Care UK, Gary Cliffe, Founding Director, Inclusive Community Development and Co-Chair, Cheshire West Voluntary Action, Rachel Shorney, Stakeholder & Community Engagement Manager, SP Energy Networks and Joe Manning, Deputy Chief Executive, Cheshire and Warrington LEP and Chief Executive, Marketing Cheshire.
