GM&C Life Sciences Fund backs Alderley Park healthcare firm

An Alderley Park-based intelligent healthcare company has secured the 25th investment made by the GM&C Life Sciences Fund.

Rinicare will used the money provided by the Catapult Ventures-managed initiative to support the commercialisation of its digital healthcare portfolio, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve medical outcomes while reducing costs.

It has also secured a cash boost from NPIF – Mercia Equity Finance.

Nick Wright, chief executive of Catapult Ventures, said: “The quality of the core investment team at Alderley Park, supported by our specialist Venture Partners, is incomparable in the UK.
