Daresbury companies boosted by £17.3m by working together
COMPANIES based at Sci-Tech Daresbury received a £17.3m boost by working together last year, a new study has found.
A survey of 97 business on the site showed that there are currently 161 collaborations between them.
This generated £4.9m in new sales or savings, with 78 per cent of the companies collaborating with at least on other organisation on the campus.
John Downes, chairman of Sci-Tech Daresbury, said: “From the very beginning, we have been creating the conditions in which collaboration and therefore innovation and entrepreneurialism can thrive.
